The plot is this--Scientists have found new technology. The technology to make robots look exactly like humans. But this is only a rumor, right? That's what everyone at the town of Wrenn thinks, even when Mimi moves in. Mimi, the new, shy girl. Mimi the one who runs when a teacher gives her a pat on the shoulder. Mimi the...Robot? She acts, feels, and looks like a real girl. But she knows she's not. She doesn't know what she is, until Bee, Lana, and Lex befriend her. They help her figure out what she is--And it isn't what they'd ever think.

:3 It's very cute, actually. And if you're wondering, Lulu is Mimi's pet kitty. :3 She and Squiggles are more like eye candy than anything else. xD

The plot is very steampunk-ish mixed with modern and cyberpunk...It's about a town that has three parts to it: In the inner rim is a tower that seems a castle inside, in the middle rim is the big city, and in the outer is what they'd call 'suburbs', which is what we'd call country.
The kids in the story are from all three of the rims. Lana is a misunderstood, elegant girl who lacks the approval of her parents because of her love for alchemy. She lives in the tower. Bee/Melanie is a girl who zones way too much, and has a high curiousity. She's an orphan and lives with her overoveroverWAY TOOoverprotective brother, and her sister. Not like she even realizes they're there--She zones too much to see anything. She lives in the country. Last but not least, Lex. He has no idea what 'respect' means, due to the fact he lost his only parent-his father-at the age of eight. He's quiet the inventor, just like his father, and flies around the city with his badass steampunk goggles on his self-invented hoverboard. And has an adorable troublemaker hamster named Squiggles.
One day, the metal barrier around the three rims break from an unknown cause. Melanie/Bee is the first to notice it, and curiously walks through the barrier, leaving her brother in much stress. When she walked through the barrier to the city, people gave her strange looks because of her country-like appearance. The first person to actually ecknowledge her is Lex. And what better ecknowledgement is there than to have him invite you to his house on his hoverboard? At his house, she explains how she got there. Lex, being the son of one of the men that built the barrier, is worried. He and Bee/Melanie check to see if the inner rim is broken, and is sadly is. They meet up with guards and, eventually, Lana....After much information I can't reveal just yet, an old man explains to them that they need to do something I can't reveal...

Sound good so far? When making the plot I was thinking 'I have to put this!' but I can't remember what 'this' was... D; So help with the title and Melanie/Bee's name, and any other things you'd like to help me with please?
